A walk in the park

Standard

Steve was off on a referee course today so he couldn’t come, but I went to meet Kate and Pete and their English bulldog, Bella, and the group of people they walk with on Sundays. There was two beagles, a pug, a tiny little mix, Bella and Marvel. Marvel burst out all his energy and within five minutes he was gassed! Haha. He was off the leash for most of the walk and then on it for a few small periods. Pete and one of the other men helped me carry him when he got too tired, so he could rest his legs for a bit.

He was very good, listened most of the time we called him, followed our pack and didn’t bully the smaller dogs too much. He did try it on with the pug and the little mix a couple of times and then he had to go back on the leash. He wasn’t massively horrible, just playing, but I don’t want him to learn that it’s ok to bully the small ones.
During the walk he wasn’t shy or sceptical a single time, just friendly and curious.

He’s soo tired now, we were outdoors for about two hours and he met tons of dogs and lots of people. All good experiences. He didn’t even try to resist when I plonked him off the sofa and put him on his bed on the floor, hehe..
